In the new song, Sabrina sings about her ex’s new lover. One TikToker explained her theory on the matter using photos captioned with the song’s lyrics.

Sabrina sings in the first verse: “Maybe he met you somewhere in the desert / While doing some soul searching, he found someone better.” The TikTok creator connected this line to Camila’s reconciliation with Shawn in the Coachella Music Festival 2023 in April.

Shawn and Camila, who initially dated from 2019 to 2021, appeared to rekindle their relationship at the music festival in Indio, California. A few months earlier, Sabrina and Shawn sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together in West Hollywood, California. and at Miley Cyrus’ album release party.

At the time, Shawn said they were “not dating.”

On Camila’s photos, the TikToker wrote the lyrics to Sabrina’s “cindy lou who,” “With hair so long, lips so red.” (Camila sports long brunette locks and a dark red lip in both photos.)

They also included an old photo of Sabrina and Camila posing together with the song’s lyrics, “Maybe we met once / I forgot.”

Many fans agreed with the theory in the comments section. “No, no, this is very rational,” one wrote. “Genius, even.”
