Twitter was recently flooded with screenshots of an emergency alert sent out by the Ministry of Telecommunications.
Many people are bewildered because the notification is completely random and sounds quite loud on everyone’s device.
The message read “Urgent warning: Serious. This is a test alert from the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. 20 July 2023.”
