[Updated] List of public holidays in July 2023

Holidays in July 2023: RBI has published the complete list of holidays in June. Only a few holidays this month like Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti, etc., except for the birthdays of Guru Hargobind Ji, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti, etc. except Mondays and Wednesdays. Both public and private banks in some parts of India will remain closed on all public holidays, public holidays and the second and fourth Saturday of the month.

A total of 8 public holidays will be celebrated in June, excluding the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and Sundays. It should be noted that not all banks in all sectors respect these holidays. See the table below for holidays in June 2023:

As per RBI guidelines, all Indian banks must be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month apart from Sundays. However, the first, third and fifth Saturdays of the month will work like any other business day.

Even during the holidays, consumers don’t have to worry about financial transactions or any other banking services. On the holidays of June 2023, you can easily access all banking related services through IMPS, NEFT, UPI, ATM service, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and other available methods .
