It may come as a surprise, but Caleb Finn is just a social media name. He keeps his real name a secret because he wants to keep it private. Caleb lives in Melbourne, Australia and is amazed at how hard people try to find him.
He revealed it in a YouTube video titled Ask me anything! that people have been able to find him even though he doesn’t use his real name. He has made him more motivated to keep his identity a secret.
Most of the social media stars started posting on social media and became instantly popular. Caleb, on the other hand, did a lot of research on what people like on social media before investing his time in it. He stated in the Ask me anything! video that is not surprising to have reaped success on social networks. Caleb said:
“I did my research on how to build a brand and how to make quality content, but there’s also a lot of luck involved. So it’s like you could be doing all the right things and it still never happens to you. So it’s crazy that it worked, but at the same time I worked hard to get there.”
Caleb thinks it’s weird that people consider him famous on TikTok, but he’s grateful that he makes people happy with his content. However, he has had to deal with the negative aspects of social media, such as bullying. He continued:
“If you’re popular on social media, you’re going to be bullied to a degree, and that was a hard lesson for me to learn… There are good parts and bad parts…”
Caleb has embraced his success on social media, but his family doesn’t think so many people follow him on social media. He continued:
“My parents don’t really get it. They are like what? Why would three million people follow you? Most of my family thinks it’s crazy. Nothing like this has ever happened to anyone in my family before…”
His family may not get it, but his fanbase clearly does. Caleb is scared by the amount of public recognition he gets, but appreciates his fans for getting him to where he is.
