At the age of three, Erin began learning music from her father Mark Holland and gradually became an expert in the art of playing the clarinet, saxophone and other musical instruments. When Erin was 4 years old, she also took training in jazz and tap dancing. While studying music theory, over time, she came into the limelight as a musical theater artist and jazz singer.

Erin did her schooling from Cairns State High School, Cairns. During this time, he performed proficiently with Big Bands, Orchestras, Choirs, Wind Ensembles and many other musical ensembles. In 2006, she received a music scholarship to Cairns State High School and then The Women’s College, University of Sydney.
She completed her Bachelor of Music (a classical voice major, and languages) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Sydney. He also received many honors in advanced RAD examinations.
On July 20, 2013, Erin competed in the Miss World Australia 2013 pageant and won the crown. On September 28, 2013, she won the title of Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty, Oceania.

Then, she became part of two Kokoda expeditions along with beauty queen Laura Dundovic. Erin has also worked as an Australian Education career advisor.
