The fitness world has just experienced a tragedy when trainer and trainer Eric Fleishman passed away on Thursday. His wife, Alysia Kanemoto, showed her grief on social media by posting a picture of him with the caption:
“It is with great sadness that we inform you that Eric Phillip Fleishman passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2022.” This tragedy has profoundly affected his wife, Alysia, children, parents and close friends/family. Eric has had a positive impact on the lives of many people. He is a ray of hope, love and light.”

Eric Fleishman was born on an unknown date, but spent his youth on a farm in Maine. He quickly became interested in martial arts and wanted to succeed in bodybuilding. He completed his studies and had a brief stint as a personal trainer. When he arrived in Los Angeles in 1996, he met Don Howorth, the former Mr. Fleishman served as a trainer at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Academy and is known for his work with the LAPD, CHP, and SWAT.

Fleishman introduced many fitness programs and identified Jack LaLanne as a major influence in an interview with Iron Generation before his death.
