Keep reading to know more…poor things follows the incredible story and fantastic evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman who is brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she lacks, Ella Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a shrewd and debauched lawyer, on a breakneck adventure across continents. Free from the prejudices of her time, Bella becomes steadfast in her resolve to stand up for equality and liberation.
Yorgos is also known for directing The killing of a sacred deer, Canineand Lobster. He also has an upcoming movie titled AND. also meets again the favorite writer Tony McNamara, who also wrote the screenplay for poor things.
Emma is also a producer on the film and also co-stars with Margaret Qualley, Christopher Abbott, Jerrod Carmichael and Ramy Youssef.
Searchlight Pictures will launch the poor things on September 8.
