Emma Roberts faces accusations from her co-star Angelica Ross.
The 32- and 42-year-old actresses worked together in 2019. American Horror Story: 1984and on Tuesday (September 19), Angélica spoke in an Instagram Live about the experience.
Angélica explained that her relationship with a co-star worsened when a playful moment led to an alleged transphobic comment.
He also accused his co-star of playing “mind games” with everyone on set.
While Angelica didn’t explicitly say the full name “Emma Roberts,” she said, “The person I’m talking about is definitely Miss ER,” via TVLine.
“I’m standing in front of Emma, talking to her like this, and she’s in front of me, with her back to the mirror,” she said. “She says, ‘John, Angelica is being mean.’”

The “John” in question was not specified, although two episodes of the season in which they both starred were directed by John J. Gray, via Newsweek.
“I know you’re not serious,” he continued.
“She’s just being whatever. And John says, ‘she’s okay, ladies, that’s enough.’ Let’s get back to work.’ And then he looks at me and says, ‘Don’t you mean lady?’ And she turns around like this and covers her mouth. [with her shirt].”
Once Emma turned around, Angelica said she couldn’t “see that he was looking at her dead ass on camera, like, ‘What the fuck did you just say?’ And I’m standing there looking at her dead in that damn thing, and I’m like, trying to process [what] Damn, he just said.
“I’m standing there, she walked away, my blood is boiling. Because I think, if I say something, the problem will be me. And I know this because there was someone who spoke out about what she was doing and she had repercussions for it. Not her, they did it,” Angélica continued.
“So when I saw that happening, I thought, ‘I’m done.’ I didn’t talk to that bitch the whole time after that. So we had scenes together and I never spoke to her. She told me that she could feel the energy coming out of me. She said to me: ‘Are you okay? You haven’t been talking. I say, ‘Mmmhmm.’ Because, bitch, don’t play with me. “You’ve been playing mind games with everyone on set and everyone has been waiting for the moment you would catch me.”
Angelica Ross also said that Ryan Murphy accepted her proposal to do a season of American horror story starring four black women, but then cheated on her and never responded to follow-ups about the project.
