Edward Stephen Hall, popularly known as Eddie Hall, is a former British strongman. Eddie Hall won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017.
Early life and childhood
Former British strongman Eddie was born on January 15, 1988 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. He is currently 34 years.
He had anxiety problems so he had to sacrifice his dreams of becoming a competitive swimming star. Hall attended Clayton High School, but was expelled when he was 15 years old.

However, later in 2012, Hall was invited to compete in Europe’s Strongest Man, which was another Giant level event.

In December 2015, Eddie Hall appeared in a documentary directed by Matt Bell and produced by Tom Swanston. In 2016, Hall once again broke his record by lifting a massive 500kg weight that caused him to faint.
However, in 2017, Hall finally proved himself to be the World’s Strongest Man 2017. He later announced that he had some health-related issues and shared his intention to retire from the World’s Strongest Man and return to lower weight competitions.
