“I had been on a series of bad dates and the last one was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The next morning I arrived at the studio and Caroline and Tobias asked me how everything had gone and I immediately declared ‘TRAINING SEASON IS OVER’ and like the best ‘day after’ debriefs with your mates, we had a good laugh and Everything was over. It came together quickly from there,” Dua said in a statement.

She added: “And while it’s obviously about that feeling when you’re no longer telling people…specifically men in this case, how to date you properly; It’s also about my training season being over and me growing with each experience. I have never felt safer, clearer or more empowered. And while training season may never end for any of us, you begin to see the beauty in finding that person to experience it with. You stop looking for apprentices and become more interested in having someone where you are and someone to grow with.”

Dua will be performing at the Grammys on February 4th and is nominated for multiple awards!
