Speaking to the podcast, which celebrates the song’s release 10 years later, Dolly recalled how she almost crashed a car and how it reminded her of Whitney Houston’s performance of her song, “I Will Always Love You.”

“I remember the first time I heard ‘Wrecking Ball’. It hit me in the same way as the first time I heard Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You,'” he shared.

Dolly added: “I was driving, I heard that and I almost crashed. And when I heard ‘Wrecking Ball’, I almost broke down again! I thought when that chorus started, I thought it hit me like a wrecking ball. I thought, ‘Well, how good can a song be?'”

Recently, Miley reflected on the song and the heated dispute with a late singer who accompanied it.
