Divyanshi Jain was born in 2002 (age 18 years; as in 2020) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Since her primary school education, Divyanshi excelled in studies and has always been a topper. He studied at Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School in Rajendra Nagar, Lucknow. After scoring perfect 100 marks in CBSE 12th exam, Divyanshi Jain became a household name.
Family
Divyanshi Jain’s father, Prakash Jain, runs a general store in Ganeshganj, Lucknow and her mother, Seema Jain, is a housewife. Divyanshi is the second child of her parents. His elder sister’s name is Shreyanshi.

- Although the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided not to release the 2020 merit list for Class 12 exams due to the special circumstances amid COVID-19, Divyanshi Jain, after scoring full 100 marks, popularly Promoted as a topper in the media.
- Divyanshi scored 600 out of 600 marks in the CBSE Class 12 board exams, and she did not lose a single mark in any of her six subjects, i.e. English, Sanskrit, Geography, Economics, Insurance and History.
- After the results were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 13 July 2020, a delighted Divyanshi said,
this is incredible. I’m excited and surprised at the same time.”
- Divyanashi took the examination of all subjects except Geography. Geography paper was canceled due to COVID-19.
- Divyanshi Jain gave credit for her success to her parents and teachers.
My teachers guided me throughout the year and because of my parents I was able to follow a systematic routine. Both these factors allowed me to focus on my studies and score good marks.”
- Talking about his strategy to prepare himself for the exam, he said,
I also focused on revision and mock tests, which helped me score better.
- Divyanshi Jain is fond of history and wants to pursue this subject in her higher education. Talking about this he said,
I want to study history further. I have applied for admission in BA(H) History in Delhi University.
- In her statement on Divyanshi’s success, CBSE Regional Officer (RO) Shweta Arora said,
Divyanshi has got the highest marks in Prayagraj region. She appeared in five out of six examinations.
- Happy with Divyanshi’s success, her school principal B Singh said,
I am amazed by Divyanshi’s achievement. We were confident that she would top but the marks she got were beyond our expectations.
