Deepu Srivastava is an Indian actor and standup comedian who has participated in several comedy shows that were aired on national television. Deepu is the younger brother of famous comedian Raju Srivastava, who passed away on 21 September 2022.

Deepu Srivastava was born on Thursday, 9 April 1970 (age 52 years; as in 2022) in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign is Aries. After completing his schooling, Deepu Srivastava pursued his higher education from Kanpur University, from where he completed his graduation in 1993.

Deepu Srivastava’s career started in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where he used to do standup comedy till 1998. In 1998, Deepu Srivastava moved to Mumbai along with his elder brother Raju Srivastava. Deepu Srivastava got his big break in 2007 when he participated in the comedy show Funjabi Chak De, which aired on Star One. Deepu Srivastava appeared in Dangal TV’s 2009 comedy show Raju Haazir Ho opposite Raju Srivastava. Deepu Srivastava also participated in the Bhojpuri comedy show Laughter Express. In 2012, at the invitation of the news channel Live India, Deepu Srivastava performed standup comedy in their show.

In 2017, Deepu Srivastava participated in two comedy shows, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Comedy Ka Badshah – Hasega India, which were aired on StarPlus and Sony Entertainment Television respectively.

In 2018, ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, News18 India invited Deepu Srivastava to perform standup comedy and mimic famous Indian politicians on their show Lapete, Netaji.
