Deepjot Singh Jandu, popularly known as Deep Jandu, is a Punjabi singer and music director. He is popular for using the phrase “Agiya ni ohi billo time” in his songs.

Deep Jandu was born on 21 December 1990 (age 28 years; as in 2018) in Montreal, Canada. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He did his schooling in Toronto, Canada. He had a keen interest in music since childhood and would often skip his classes to compose music at home. He was good at singing ‘Boliyan’ and ‘Sher’. Jandu received music education from Ustad Jagdish Singh Virdi and Pandit Mahesh Mulwani. He was also good at dancing and at the age of 14, he joined a local Bhangra group called “Sone Gabru Punjab De” and started performing with them.

Deep Jandu started his career as a singer in 2011 with the song “Shera Naal Yaari”. Subsequently, he released songs like “Nishna,” “Nakhre,” “Janeh Jaana,” and “Court.” Jandu then started working as a music director and worked on several Punjabi songs including “Designer,” “Camero Kali,” “Underestimate,” “Yaar Belly” and “Jail.” Some of his amazing works include “Up and Down,” “Good Life,” “Gangster Scene,” and “Aa Jiya Ni Ohi Billo Time.”
Controversy
In 2017, Deep Jandu was accused by music artist Zvirek Beat of stealing his music. Zwierek, who produces trap music, claimed that Jandu stole his music and used it in his new song “Designer” which was sung by Nimrat Khaira. He even said that Deep had earlier contacted him via email to buy his music and when Jandu did not get any response from him, he stole the beats. Zvirek revealed all this through his Facebook post.
