Danny Elfman responds to allegations that he sexually abused a woman in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
Two separate women have accused the 70-year-old musician of sexual harassment, sexual assault and similar transgressions. In July, songwriter Nomi Abadi sued Danny for failing to pay an $830,000 settlement in a 2018 sexual harassment case.
In October, a second woman accused Danny of sexually abusing her between 1997 and 2002, when she was a 21-year-old student at the New York Film Academy.

On Monday (Nov. 6), Danny claimed that he “did not commit any sexual abuse, made no inappropriate advances, and never inappropriately touched” his accuser. THR reports.
In a statement obtained by the outlet, Danny’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, wrote: “Recognizing that her absurd accusations would have no weight in a court of law, the plaintiff and her attorneys decided to embark on a disinformation campaign, filing her dishonest complaint. to the media. days before it was filed with the Court or became publicly available in the Court record.”
