Danish Sood is an Indian musician and actor. She is known for starring in the 2021 Bollywood film ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’ and the Hindi web series Hostages (2020) and The Fame Game (2022).

Danish Pratap Sood was born in Delhi. He did his schooling from Delhi Public School, Dwarka. In 2013, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ramjas College, Delhi. Later, she earned a master’s degree in Visual and Performing Arts from Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Delhi. In 2019, he graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai with a Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.

- When Danish studied in school, he used to sing Christmas carols. After his sister went away to college, he started learning music out of desperation.

When I auditioned for it, I didn’t know what it was for. What I am most attracted to is the idea of the show. In CAT, I can offer much more than in other projects. After two rounds of auditions, I really wanted to do it and I was lucky to get the role.

Randeep is a great actor who is committed to his art. Even on the set, he was so engrossed in his character. I wanted to perform better and not let them feel that I was lacking somewhere. He was punctual on the sets and gave me feedback on my scenes. And, it is very unrealistic to share screen space with him.

Soon, I will start a documentary in Banaras. There is another show that will be coming to a popular OTT platform next year. Apart from these, I am also giving auditions and reading scripts.
