Cynthia Harris was born as Cynthia Lee Harris on August 9, 1934in New York City, United States. He was 87 years old at the time of his death. She was born to her parents Saul Harris (father) and Deborah Harris (mother).

Harris had guest appearances on TV shows and movies like Archie Bunker’s Place and All My Children. Cynthia received a BAFTA Award nomination in 1979 for her role as the Duchess of Windsor in Edward and Mrs. Simpson.
She played “comic old mom” Sylvia Buchman on the sitcom Mad About You for five seasons, returning to the role for the 2019 limited series revival. She starred as “Mrs. B.” in television commercials for the now-defunct Bradlees department store company for nearly two decades.
