upgrade chrome in Cyberpunk: Siderunner Provides users with advanced capabilities and is a staple of the Netflix animated series. For some characters, such as Kiwi, chrome elements are heavily incorporated into their character design. Now, new behind-the-scenes art reveals more details about her Kiwi and chrome.
Cyberpunk: Siderunner It aired in September and has since gained a huge following. The film follows David Martinez as he finds a new ragtag family and becomes a fringe character in Night City. To enhance his abilities, David has been seen with various chrome implants. His companions, like their opponents, have their own style. Kiwi, voiced by Stephanie Wong (English) and Takako Honda (Japanese), is one of the track and field athletes on the team David is on. She is a netrunner who was Lucy’s mentor, bringing her to the ice of Maine.
on Twitter, Official Cyberpunk: Siderunner account Kiwi shared the design to get a better look at her face. Designed by Yusuke Yoshigaki, it confirms what lies beneath her mask. Underneath the Kiwi mask… still nothing! There was a large hole in her face, and inside was metal. Her underside has no lips, teeth, or any other standard body features. Her point of view appears in Cyberpunk: Siderunner episode 6, “fiery girl”. Maine discovered that Kiwi’s mask had been ripped off, leaving nothing behind the mask, very briefly. At this point, however, Maine doesn’t fully become herself and begins to slip into a virtual state of mind. This can throw the context into question, raising the question of whether there really is no organic character under the New Zealanders mouth.

Kiwi vomits in a later episode, revealing the upper “mouth” but not taking a closer look inside. Although she doesn’t have a tongue, she also jokes about biting her tongue in another episode. This artwork belongs to Cyberpunk: Siderunner Officially confirmed that her mask is a panel, not just an add-on. This sets out some of the more meaningful details for fans of the game the show is based on, Electronics 2077. Kiwi can be seen smoking during the show through a mask. Considering she’s alive and able to breathe, that means she has an internal implant that allows this to happen. She is also able to speak, suggesting that she may have several speakers connected internally to allow for external speaking, rather than just communicating through a psychocommunication uplink. Of the crew of Maine, she’s probably just the most invisible chrome member, aside from Lucy, who doesn’t have many obvious, external upgrades compared to her companions. As an online runner, perhaps she and Kiwi have done more with mental ability than physical appearance.
Some anime put a lot of emphasis on revealing characters, such as naruto, in an additional episode, Naruto and his teammates attempt to unmask their mentor Kakashi. However, Kakashi’s face was almost normal, and he didn’t have any big secrets to hide. Kiwi’s mask, on the other hand, serves a completely different purpose – making her face appear to be a consistent structure, despite her cybernetic upgrades and transformations. Cyberpunk: Siderunner The conclusion may have been reached, but there are many secrets hidden within the characters and fans can slowly learn more based on behind-the-scenes details like this design art.
