Architect Claude Cormier Obituary and cause of death
Valérie Plante (now X) just mentioned Claude’s death on Twitter. Claude Cormier’s cause of death has not yet been announced by his family. Although the exact cause of his death is unclear, it is possible that it was the result of an illness or an accident. Claude Cormier’s death comes as a shock and a great loss. Claude was a great Montrealer who was also a visionary and builder.
Many local icons and public areas bore his stamp, including the Ring, Village Boules, Dorchester Square, Clock Beach and others. His contribution to architecture will be forever remembered.
