Disney’s new dating program, Written in the Stars, will help individuals find love based on their stars. In about 30 days, the show will hold 12 singles. Discovery + UK has described it as “Island of love meets Married at first sight, but with horoscopes.” Clara Amfo, a BBC Radio 1 DJ, will host and host the show, which she believes will be the “ideal antidote” to modern relationships. Clara Amfo, broadcaster for BBC Radio 1 Future Sounds, will host Discovery+ Written in the Stars. Her career is at its peak and she is ready to take it to the next level with her upcoming appearances on the shows. Hosted by an award-winning broadcaster, podcaster and TV presenter, the popular FutureSounds show showcases rising music and artists. She has also interviewed famous artists such as Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Sir Elton John and Billie Eilish.
Amfo was born in Kingston and attended St Mary’s College to study media arts as well as professional and creative writing. She started her career as a marketing intern at Kiss FM before becoming a weekend morning presenter on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Two years later, she assumed the position of leader of The Official Chart.
Her radio presentation career has expanded and she is now a member of BAFTA’s presentation team, rolling out the live red carpet for several award shows. The Write in the Stars host was present at the premieres of many films, including Black Panther, The Lion King and No Time to Die. She has been in undisclosed circumstances, having appeared on season 18 of Strictly Come Dancing and as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Now, Clara will return to undescribed space with three astrologers to help 12 singles find love using their stars.
Amfo discussed Writing in the Stars with POPSUGAR, saying that the show gives a new twist to a classic recipe depending on its stars.

“This is the dating show for me,” I thought. When the opportunity came, I couldn’t refuse. I believe in astrology; It is ingrained in our society.”
