“It’s like a springboard,” JT said during an interview with Variety. “You know how sometimes you feel like you see everything falling into place, but you’ve been waiting for it to happen for so long? I feel very excited. I feel like it’s also going to silence a lot of people. I feel like a lot of people are going to tune in just to have something to say, and when they finally hear it, they’re going to like it.”

She reflected: “Right now, it seems like there are a lot of people doubting us. It’s just a bitter time for a lot of people coming out of lockdown and people are feeling entitled and stubborn and it’s popular to be hateful at the moment. I won’t say people just hate us, I just see a lot of hate in the world. I hope this album brings the fun back to music from our direction. I hope this makes them fall in love with us again.”

JT had a passionate message for listeners. “Shut up and enjoy the music, consume the music and love the music,” the rapper emphasized. “That’s what I hope they get out of this: just the music.”
