“Christmas Cookie Challenge” Season 6 Is Set To Be Released On Food Network

The sixth season of the Christmas Cookie Challenge returns to the annual holiday tradition. Each week, the show will feature five cookie chefs competing in a series of challenges for the $10,000 grand prize. The series returns with a tough episode and snow battles. In addition, instead of the usual five contestants, there will be six contestants competing in pairs.

The summary of the episode is as follows:

“Ree Drummond and Eddie Jackson asked four cookie-making couples to make two gift cards—one card each; then the couples will build a suitable fortress to survive the snowball battle with a mountain of snowballs ready in the hope of making $10,000.”

Christmas Cookie Challenge Season 6 Episode 1 premieres on Food Network on Sunday, November 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

First episode of Season 6 Christmas Cookie Challenge

The Christmas Cookie Challenge Season 6 Episode 1 titled The Christmas Couple will have four couples competing in different Christmas themed missions for the grand prize of $10,000. Participants had to design two name cards for Ree Drummond and Eddie Jackson, pioneers of The Food Network. The nametag will decide which couple goes to the next round and leaves empty-handed. The remaining pairs then have to build a cookie fortress using the snowball as a cannon to decide which castle is the biggest of them all. In the end, only one couple will leave with the desired money and gold ornaments that will brighten their Christmas.

Three of the four couples were seen decorating their nameplates in a Christmas Cookie Challenge ad shared on social media. Joe and Danielle’s cards appear to be gnomes; however, while Danielle’s gnome is excellent, her partner seems to be “just got into a fight with someone.”

Joe said in his confession that intricate patterns are bad for his hands because they’re not the strongest. Danielle said,

“Joe isn’t exactly a refined gentleman.”

Luke and Brett’s cookies are decorated with Mardi Gras beads and look like a Louisiana Santa alligator. Meanwhile, Aamie and Jonathan make guitar-shaped gifts and cookies. Aamie calls her companion a “Christmas taste tester”. “The guitar was one of the first gifts she gave him.

Jonathan admitted in his confessional:

“I appreciate what my wife is doing because it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.”
