Christina Aguilera is preparing to take fans back to the world of Burlesque and educate a new generation of music lovers about air rights, according to a new report.
If you forgot, the 42-year-old “Dirrty” diva shared the screen with the likes of Cher in the 2010 film, which has developed a cult following over the years.
According to a new report, she is working with several other people involved in the original film to create a Broadway musical inspired by the project.

According to ET, Christina has joined the project as an executive producer. She is said to be working with the film’s director Steven Antin, who confirmed that the musical was in the works.
“Yes, the stage musical adaptation is underway,” he told the outlet, adding that it was “very exciting.”
The musical is expected to premiere in the United Kingdom. It will include music from the original film. Todrick Hall and Jess Foley are also said to be working on some musical additions to the story.
