Lizzo defends herself.
On Wednesday (May 31), the “Truth Hurts” singer, 35, took to Twitter to call out social media trolls for commenting on her appearance and shared a screenshot of a user who had posted a photo of her body and captioned it. with a rude comment.

“I JUST logged into the app and this is the kind of shit I see about myself every day,” Lizzo. wrote in response.
“It’s really starting to make me hate the world. Then someone in the comments said I eat “a lot of fast food.” “I LITERALLY STOP EATING FAST FOOD YEARS AGO…I’m tired of explaining myself all the time and I just want to get on this app without seeing my name on any nonsense,” she continued.
She then shared another post from a different user, who had commented that Lizzo’s “size” was part of her “brand.”
“You all really need to touch the grass… I’m not trying to BE fat. “I’m not trying to BE smaller… I’m literally just trying to live and be healthy,” she wrote in response. “This is what my body looks like even when I eat very clean and exercise! “They all talk shit, they don’t know ANYTHING ABOUT and I’m starting to get heated.”
The singer went on to say that she was “about to give up on everyone and quit and enjoy my money and my man on a F–KING FARM,” noting that she doesn’t look for the comments that appear on her timeline.
