Chetan Salunkhe is an Indian street dancer, best known for winning the dance reality show “Dance Plus 4” in 2019. Chetan is one of the recent examples of rags-to-riches stories. Chetan Salunkhe was born in a lower-middle-class Marathi family in the year 1999 in Pune city of Maharashtra (age 19 years; as of 2018). He is also popular by the nicknames Chen and Popping Badshah. Salunkhe grew up in a slum in Pune city. At a very young age, Chetan got inclined towards dance. In his childhood, he used to dance on the streets of his area and often received praise from the people of his area.
Chetan Salunkhe used to copy the dance moves of famous dancers including Prabhu Deva, Govinda and Michael Jackson.
He considers himself a self-taught dancer. On the suggestion of his friends and relatives, Chetan started participating in various dance programs.

In 2018, Chetan participated in Dance Maharashtra Dance; A dance reality show which aired on ZEE Yuva.
Then, she auditioned for Dance Plus 4; Another dance reality show, which was aired on Star Plus. He could not be selected in the first three auditions. However, he was selected in his fourth audition.
She received tremendous support in the Dance Plus 4 show; Both from the audience and from his friends and relatives, especially his grandmother, who actively campaigned for him.

My mother had taken many loans which we could not repay so I had to leave school after 10th class and work. I asked my mother to give me a chance to participate in this show but I never thought that I would win.
