Charli XCX is reporting negative comments.
The 35-year-old singer recently announced her upcoming song “In The City” with Sam Smith and was evidently surprised by the comments about her collaboration with the 31-year-old singer.
“I’m about to release a song with Sam Smith and the experience so far has been really interesting,” he began in a TikTok video.

“I have never seen someone receive so many hateful comments online in my life. It’s been really discouraging,” she continued.
“But at the same time, I’m very proud of Sam’s ability to endure that because I know I certainly couldn’t endure it. “So I just wanted to tell you Sam, I love you, I love our song together and I’m in awe of your strength.”
