Cedric McMillan was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1977 (age 44 years at the time of death), in Maplewood, New Jersey, USA, his zodiac sign is Leo.
He had his primary education at Clinton Elementary School. As a child, he was attracted to muscular bodies and often created comic characters with extraordinary physical features. He grew up admiring 7x Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger; McMillan became a big fan of Schwarzenegger after seeing him in Conan the Barbarian. When he was thirteen, his mother gifted him a weight set after learning of his passion for sports. Soon, he began his training in weightlifting and realized that he had good genetics for bodybuilding.
Cedric attended Andrew Jackson High School, Jacksonville, Florida from 1994 to 1996. After graduating from high school, McMillan moved to Lancaster, South Carolina, where he joined the US Army.
Shortly afterwards, McMillan’s friend Mark Neal convinced him to enter a bodybuilding competition. Neil encouraged him to learn the basics of bodybuilding and helped him achieve proper weight and shape.

Cedric McMillan began his bodybuilding career in 2007 by attending NPC South Carolina. He competed in the super heavyweight category and stood first. In 2008, he entered the NPC Junior USA Championships and won the competition. Subsequently, he participated in many popular bodybuilding championships such as NPC National Championships (2009), Europa Dallas Pro (2010), and New York Pro (2011).
A top-open division bodybuilder, McMillan had 8 pro wins to his name. He earned his first pro card in 2009. Cedric’s most notable win was the 2017 Arnold Classic Ohio, where he got the chance to meet his idol Arnold Schwarzenegger, who praised him for his classic physique. Despite setting the bar at the Arnold Classic in Ohio, McMillan was considered a poor performer in the Mr. Olympia finals.
Cedric last competed at the 2020 Arnold Classic in Ohio where he finished sixth.
Death
Cedric McMillan died of a heart attack on April 12, 2022. Reportedly, he suffered a heart attack while he was on the treadmill. Confirming the news of his death, Black Skull USA, the supplement company that sponsors McMillan, took to Instagram and wrote,
We are sad to inform you that our friend and brother @cedricmcmillan passed away today. Cedric will be greatly missed as an athlete, comrade, friend and father.”

McMillan has previously spoken about his heart problems. In 2021, he suffered from COVID-19 and experienced some breathing problems. Eventually, he was taken to the hospital with pneumonia and placed on life support.
Although he recovered from the disease after some time, he delayed his return to competitive bodybuilding due to health problems. In 2022, a few months before his death, McMillan announced that he was planning to return to the game soon.
