One might assume that working on a Disney+ Christmas series like Santa Claus It would be fun, but according to Casey Wilson, it wasn’t. And that was all because of an actor also known as the lead star, Tim Allen.
Casey Wilson appeared as a guest on Disney+. Santa clausesplaying the adult Sara in the 1994 film. The Santa Claus, while Tim Allen took on the same role of Scott Calvin, aka Santa Claus. Despite his brief time on set, Wilson revealed on a recent episode of his “Bitch Sesh” podcast via Variety“Tim Allen was a bitch… It was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star.”
“It was so fucking rude.”
That’s all he said, there’s more to his story. Wilson also recounted a scene with Allen in which he had to throw things at her because his character mistook him for a thief instead of Santa Claus sliding down the chimney.
“So I’m throwing things at him. [He] He walks up to the producer who’s standing four feet from me and says, and I hear him, and he says, ‘You have to tell him to stop stepping on my lines,’” Wilson alleged. “The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot towards me and says, ‘Um, Tim would ask you to stop stepping on his lines.'”
And she wasn’t the only one who witnessed this behavior…she claimed that a crew member also commented on it.
Wilson recalled: “It’s the end [of the scene]and Tim Allen says, ‘I’m leaving!’ [He] He takes his Santa Claus cape, picks it up, drops it to the ground and leaves. And they hasten to replace him; charming man, against whom it was much more pleasant to act. People run to pick up their velvet Santa coat. “She’s a bitch.”
Once Allen left, Wilson reportedly recalled, “someone I don’t know, maybe on the team, walks by me and just says, ‘You’re seeing him on a good day.'”
I’m curious if other crew members or even actors felt the same and if they could speak up, but so far, it’s just Casey Wilson. Allen has not yet responded to his claims.
