Carlitos Bala, comedian, actor, musician and children’s entertainer, passed away on September 22 at the age of 97. Laura Gelfi, his niece, announced the news, saying:

Bala was admitted to the Guemes sanatorium and observed before his death. During a recent LAM broadcast, panelist Estefania Berardi said Carlitos became ill in the afternoon and his family decided to take him to the hospital after consulting with his primary care doctors. Carlitos Bala, born August 13, 1925, is a renowned performer and specialist in children’s entertainment. He is known for his close-cropped hair and catchy catchphrases. Career
Bala started his career on radio, then moved on to television. He is a member of the trio of Bala, Marchesini and Locatti and visited Pope Francis at the Vatican in 1991 before being appointed peace ambassador to Rome.
