Camille Abilée, who was primarily a midfielder during her playing days, began her football journey with Jeanne d’Arc Bruges in 1992. By 1994, she moved to FC Bruges and later played for other local teams including Stade Briochin and La Roche-sur-Yon. His talent took him to the Clairefontaine Academy in 2002. After Clairefontaine, Abilée joined Montpellier, achieving two league championships and the Challenge de France. She then moved to Lyon and won three consecutive league titles from 2006 to 2009. Abili entered US women’s professional soccer in 2008, being drafted by the Los Angeles Soul and debuting in 2009 against the Washington Freedom. After winning the league with Seoul, he joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan for a short period of time. In 2010, Abili played for FC Gold Pride and won another title, and then returned to Lyon and contributed to their first UEFA Women’s Champions League title in the 2010–11 season.

In international play, Abilée represented France 183 times. Starting with the under-18 team at the 2001 UEFA Women’s Under-18 Championship, she debuted with the senior team in 2001 against the Netherlands and scored her first national team goal in 2007 against China. They participated in major tournaments such as UEFA Women’s Euro 2005, 2009, 2013 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2011 and 2015, achieving fourth place in 2011.

Camille Abilée first played for the French national team, Les Blues, on 26 September 2001 in a game against the Netherlands. He represented France at both the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, where the team finished fourth in the 2012 competition.
