Britney Spears used this trick to try to get out of a traffic ticket in a Body Cam video

Oops, he did it again! Recently released body camera footage revealed a sneaky trick Spears attempted to use to avoid exiting a traffic stop.

During a traffic stop on October 6, 2023, Spears tried to get out of a ticket by using the oldest trick in the book: claiming she had to go to the bathroom.

In the footage, the officer approached her car as Spears apologized and said, “I’m so sorry, I had to play, my house was right there. Very sorry.”

The officer explained his traffic violation (running over double yellow lines) for which Spears had the perfect excuse.

“I’m so sorry, I have to use the bathroom… he’s about to leave right now. “I am very sorry,” he explained.

Spears’ October traffic stop is not her first recent run-in with the law. On September 10, Spears was stopped and caught without her license or proof of insurance.

As reported by TMZ, Britney was initially pulled over in September for going 61 in a 40 mph zone. The violations in early September earned Spears a $1,140 fine. For the double line violation, Spears received a minor fine of $327.
