Proving that there doesn’t seem to be much disagreement between her and Jamie Lynn, Britney Spears took to her Instagram to share a snap of herself and her little brother.
The photo, which she posted on Saturday, February 3, shows Britney chatting with someone while the younger version of Jamie Lynn looks on. Tagging her younger sister in the post, Britney wrote: “Throwback!!! I can’t stop laughing” with laughing and crying emojis.

The pop icon noticeably cropped her mother, Lynne Spears, out of the photo. Britney previously spoke about her upbringing and how her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, constantly fought.
“He was an alcoholic,” he wrote of his father in his memoirs. The woman in me. “I was usually afraid at home. It wasn’t necessarily paradise outside either, but it was my world. Call it heaven or hell, it was mine.”
Although he was tough on all of his children, Britney stated that Jamie was especially tough on his older brother, Bryan. “My dad was reckless, cold and mean to me, but he was even harsher to Bryan,” she explained. “He put so much pressure on him to do well in sports that he was cruel.”
After the end of her 13-year conservatorship, Britney Spears stopped speaking to her family. She has since reconciled with Jamie Lynn and is working to reconnect with her mother. However, she refuses to repair her relationship with her father, Jamie.
“My sweet mom showed up at my door yesterday after 3 years,” Britney wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “A lot of time has passed. In the family there are always things to resolve… but time heals all wounds!!!”
“And after being able to communicate what I’ve held back for a long time, I feel so blessed to have been able to try to do things RIGHT!!! I love you a lot!!!”

“I always thought everything my sister did was the best,” Jamie Lynn said of looking up to her older brother. “When it came to my sister, even if I felt something, if someone said something, I was ready to leave. I was like, ‘Don’t talk about my sister, she’s the best.'”
Two months after Britney Spears’ conservatorship ended, Jamie Lynn continued to show her support. “I love and support my sister, and always will. “It’s very clear that this has been a painful process and I have to respect the way she gets through it.”
“This is a complicated situation. “There comes a point where you can’t help someone who doesn’t want you to.”
