Britney Spears highlights her latest fashion accessory: an ankle injury during a visit to the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles this week.
The “Toxic” singer detailed that “the paramedics showed up at my door,” in an Instagram post on Thursday, May 2.
“I really sprained my ankle last night like an idiot. “This is to show evidence,” Spears recalled in the video. As Britney Spears narrates the images of her, she shows her fans a close-up of her swollen ankle.
“The damn idiot tries to jump in the Cheateau’s living room, and I fell, I got embarrassed, and that’s it,” he added. Spears then claims that “the paramedics came to my door” and “caused this big scene.”

In the video she shared, Britney attempted to downplay the seriousness of the incident, claiming that first responders arrived “illegally” to offer assistance. Despite her brave “no thanks” to the treatment, the footage clearly shows she has pocketed more than just a little boo.

It’s clear that Britney is distraught after paramedics were called to the scene, and she specifically blames her mother, Lynne Spears. Britney believes Lynne was responsible for calling the paramedics and potentially even the paparazzi, as a photo agency managed to capture shots of Britney leaving the Chateau wrapped in a blanket and pillow.
The former teen idol continued, “I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news came out!!!”
Spears then claims that she “was cheated on just like she was a long time ago!!!” Britney then said she wishes she still had grandparents before adding about her mother: “I can’t stand her!!! “I honestly don’t care, I’ll say that.”
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the singer had an altercation with Paul Richard Soliz at the hotel. She was romantically linked to Soliz after separating from her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, in August 2023.
Spears and Asghari’s divorce was finalized Thursday by a Los Angeles judge. They will be legally single on December 2 after the six-month waiting period in California.
Interestingly, Britney’s third ex-husband shared a quiet update on Thursday. Asghari posted a shirtless photo of himself walking with Porsha, the Doberman he acquired during his marriage to Britney. He appears to be living a peaceful, stress-free life which contrasts starkly with Britney’s current state of perpetual drama.
