Brian shared that Logan’s passing happened in a “pretty brilliant way” – when it happened, he felt rejected by it.

“In the end it seemed good to me, but I felt a little rejected,” he says. “You know, I felt a little bit, oh, all the work I’ve done and I’m finally going to end up, you know, like an ear on an airplane carpet.”

Series creator Jesse Armstrong revealed in the Succession podcast that chose an early episode for a reason.

“He was always going to die. I felt like that had to happen,” Jesse shared. “That was always codified once we decided it was going to be the last season. Every once in a while, when I was going crazy about what the ending would be, I thought that most tragedies end with death at the end and we go back and look at that as a form. But what really prevailed was this feeling of wanting to see how they would manage later.”

If you missed it, Brian recently talked about how he baffled everyone by showing up at Logan’s funeral.
