Reed on drums and vocals, Lauginiger on bass and vocals, and Quinn Taylor on guitar and vocals formed the band Spartans from 1997 to 1999.

Reed, Myles Broscoe, Owain Lawson and Kyle Fostner founded Les Angles Morts in 2002, an instrumental group that developed and performed music for their short videos. The band released one album, “What’s Real?” (2005) on Blue Skies Turn Black Records and many unnamed 3″ mini CDs.
Additionally, Reed and guitarist Victoria Morrison co-founded Let Lowns in 2002. Let Lowns self-released the album “Humbilical Horde” (2004), later distributed by Villa Villa Nola. Personal stories about Reed are available in Jeff Miller’s book, ‘Ghost Pine’, as well as in the Wolf edition of Ghost Pine Zine.
Reed played bass, guitar and drums on ‘Think About Life’ in 2007. He composed the lyrics and sang lead vocals on Bastian and The Boar.
