Brahma Mishra was an Indian actor, known for starring in the Bollywood films Manjhi: The Mountain Man (2015) and Kesari (2019), and the Amazon Prime web series Mirzapur (seasons 1 and 2).

Brahma Mishra was born as Brahmswaroop Mishra in 1985 (age 36 years at the time of death), and was from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Brahma did his graduation from the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, Bhopal. He then did a two-year course in film and television from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. In 2009, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.

In 2013, Brahma Mishra debuted in Bollywood with the film Chor-Chor Super Chor, in which he played the role of Vava.
In 2015, he appeared as Bhura in the Bollywood film Manjhi: The Mountain Man. Subsequently, he appeared in several popular Bollywood films, such as Dangal (2016), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), and Super 30 (2019). Later, in 2019, he played the role of ‘Khudadaad’, an iconic character who is martyred while giving water to the enemies in the Bollywood film ‘Kesari’.

Brahma Mishra made his digital debut with a brief cameo appearance in the TV series Not Fit (2015) on TVFPlay, the show is also said to be India’s first mockumentary.
In 2018, Brahma came into limelight when he played the role of Lalit in the Amazon Prime web series Mirzapur.
Death
On 2 December 2021, his body was found at his rented residence on Yari Road in Versova, Mumbai. It is being told that he died due to a heart attack.

- His first film, Chor-Chor Super Chor (2018) was directed by K. Rajesh, who was Brahma’s senior at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Sharing memories of his first film, Brahma said,
One day he called me, gave me the script and said, read it and tell me can you see yourself playing any of these characters? I said that the character of ‘Wawa’ is similar to me in some way and they offered me that role in the film.
- In 2003, during his graduation, Brahma expressed his desire to become an actor to his professor Dr. Vijay Bahadur, who was a friend of Alakhanandan, a renowned theater artist. Dr. Vijay Bahadur introduced Brahma to Alakhnandan who taught him theatrical skills. In an interview he said,
The foundation of my acting was laid in theater and my first guru was Alkhanandan ji. I worked with him in many plays on stage and backstage.
- Apart from films and series, Brahma was also associated with theater groups like Kopal Productions’ plays, Sharad Joshi Express and Impatient Sikar.
