Kate Micucci opens up about her lung cancer diagnosis.
The 43-year-old actress and comedian, who played Lucy in Big Bang TheoryHe posted a video on TikTok and opened up from the hospital after undergoing surgery.
“Hello everyone, this is not a TikTok, it’s a ‘Sick Tok,'” he said. “I’m in the hospital but it’s because I had lung cancer surgery yesterday. “They detected it very early.”

“It’s really strange, because I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life, so, you know, it was a surprise. But I also guess it happens and the best news is that they caught it early, they got it out, I’m fine.”
“It has been a little journey and [I’ll] “I’ll probably go slowly for a few weeks, but then I’ll get back to it,” he said, adding that he can’t wait to get back to painting.
“Why do I keep talking… because I’m high?” he added while giving a thumbs up.
She also included a video of her slowly walking around the hospital in a gown while carrying her IV drip.
One fan asked in the comments if she had any symptoms that would make her get checked.
“I had something in my blood work that came back very high,” he said, noting that I had high levels of CRP, meaning there was a lot of inflammation.
“So I went to a preventative doctor who did some scans. He scanned my heart and that was where the spot on my lung was noticed.”
