Bhajan Kaur was born on Friday, 26 August 2004 (age 19 years; as of 2023) in Ellenabad, Sirsa, Haryana. Bhajan was born in a Jat family. He did his schooling from Nachiketan Public School, Ellenabad, Haryana. She is pursuing her graduation from Chandigarh University, Ajitgarh, Punjab. In eighth grade, a senior at his school left his bow behind, and the teacher suggested Bhajan to use it. Impressed by his shot, the teachers encouraged him and this began his archery journey. In an interview, he told that when he expressed his desire to learn archery to his parents, they were happy but also worried due to financial constraints. Despite this, his father took a loan to buy an archery kit worth Rs. 25,000. She used to practice shot put before changing her sport to archery.

At the 2022 Asian Games, she won a bronze medal in the women’s team recurve event along with Ankita Bhakta and Simranjit Kaur. They won the bronze medal play-off against the Vietnam team with a score of 6–2.
