Beyonce incorporated a tribute to fellow pop icon Britney Spears into the setlist for her. Renaissance Tour.
The 41-year-old “Cozy” superstar kicked off her world tour on Wednesday (May 10) in Stockholm, Sweden.
His set list included a host of hits spanning his long career and a surprise cover by Mary J. Blige. It also included a brief sample of “Tóxicos”.

During a presentation to her. Renaissance song “Thique,” fans in the audience and those following online heard the signature chords of Britney’s beloved hit “Toxic.”
After the brief sample, Beyoncé began singing under green lights.
a video of the moment appeared online and was celebrated by fans of Beyonce and Britney.
“A Little Shout Out to the Other Queen B” a fan tweeted in response to the video.
“She likes this”, another excited fan.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Beyonce and Britney have recognized each other. They collaborated with Pink to film a Pepsi commercial and record a cover of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” in 2003.
Most recently, Britney revealed what she learned from Beyonce. There were also rumors of a possible reunion in 2022.
