Not long after Kelly Rowland made headlines for not appearing on Today Due to the drama in the dressing room, Bethenny Frankel was willing to share her opinion on the situation.
As previously reported, Rowland was scheduled to appear alongside Today features Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb to talk about their new film Mea culpa. However, just before she appeared in the 10 a.m. slot, the Destiny’s Child alum was expected to depart.
A source told Page Six: “Kelly and his team were not happy. They didn’t like her dressing room, so they decided to remove her from the program, leaving her [Hoda] without a guest host during 10am.”
Rowland’s team had allegedly organized a game of “musical dressing room” to get a green room upstairs. They were noticeably dissatisfied with the current room she was assigned to. Although there were a variety of rooms available for the actress and musician, her team simply didn’t have them. “They didn’t want that. Bethenny Frankel continued to criticize Kelly Rowland by stating, “You’re a co-host of Today’s programan entertainment institution, a news organization that is not about fancy locker rooms.”
