Kyle Viljoen, star of the seventh season of Under Deck Mediterranean, has just revealed her engagement to boyfriend Zachary K. Riley on Instagram. Kyle proposed to the couple on November 8, 2022, while they were visiting Table Mountain in the South African city of Cape Town with friends and family.
His post reads:
“Zachary and I are officially engaged and I want to thank my universe for loving me completely, wanting and completely intending to be mine forever.”
Zachary also pinned an Instagram photo to his profile. Natasha Webb, Kyle’s best friend, and several Mediterranean artists Under the Deck, including Storm Smith, Dave White and Courtney Veale, praised him in the comments.

Zachary K. Riley is involved in many volunteer initiatives.
Kyle Viljoen is the ship’s chef and reality TV personality, while Zachary K. Riley is a physiotherapist. According to his LinkedIn page, Zachary worked as a physical therapist intern from 2018 to 2020. He then took a full-time position at SPEAR Physiotherapy, LLC , where he will stay until February 2021. He currently works at NYU Langone Health.
The native New Yorker earned a bachelor of science degree from the College of the State University of New York at Oswego before going to Stony Brook University to pursue a Ph. in physical therapy. He also participates in a number of volunteer programs.

“With a long history of interest in the field of rehabilitation, I have been observing in the clinic since 2013.” In 2020, I earned my doctorate in physical therapy at Stony Brook University, where I gained knowledge and experience as a physical therapist intern in a variety of settings. , from acute care to outpatient specialties, including pelvic floor, oncology, and orthopedics.”

The Mediterranean fans below Deck have a love-hate relationship with Kyle Viljoen. He is despised for his relationship with Natasha Webb, but admired for his likeable personality. Kyle almost discovered his soul mate in one of the episodes of season 7.
A charter guest flirted with Kyle named Frank Fay in episode 8. The guy is about to break the rules that could lead to his contract termination. Fans were heartbroken over the passing of Frank and Kyle because their love seemed real at the time. However, the plot was canceled when they said their goodbyes.
Meanwhile, the final episode of Under Deck Mediterranean season 7 will air next week, with Kyle returning to the ship. In the previous episode, he left after injuring his ankle. Natasha requested a new stew on his behalf as he was unable to work, however, Captain Sandy Yawn at the time stated that Kyle was not fired.
