Bejan Daruwala was a famous Indian astrologer. He was proficient in various astrological techniques including Vedic astrology, Western astrology, I-Ching, Tarot reading, Kabbalah and palmistry.

He was born on Saturday, 11 July 1931 (age 89 years at the time of death) in Mumbai. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He did his schooling from St. Xavier’s High School, Mirzapur, Ahmedabad. Later he did his graduation from SND Arts College, Ahmedabad and further studies from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He has a PhD degree in English.

Initially, he worked as an English professor in Ahmedabad. In 1966 he started working as an astrologer. He was associated with many newspapers, magazines, television channels and publishing houses around the world. Some of his popular predictions are,

Death
On Friday, 29 May 2020, he breathed his last at Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad. He was on a ventilator for a week before his death. He had pneumonia like symptoms. According to some media sources, he was found to be positive for COVID-19 test. Meanwhile, his son Nastur denied such reports and said that his death was due to pneumonia and lack of oxygen supply to the brain. As a result of which he died.
On 29 May 2020, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani wrote on Twitter,
Saddened by the demise of famous astrologer Shri Bejan Daruwala. I pray for the departed soul. My condolences. Calmness…”

- His full name is Bejan Jahangir Daruwala.
- He was listed as one of the 100 greatest astrologers of the last 1,000 years in The Millennium Book of Prophecy, published by HarperCollins, USA.
- He was an ardent follower of Lord Ganesha.
- In 2000, he was awarded “The Astrologer of the Millennium” by Bharat Nirman.
- He was awarded the “Best Astrologer Award” (2009) by the Russian Astrologer Society of St. Petersburg.

- In 2017, he was awarded the “Babasaheb Ambedkar Nobel Award”.
