Bawanka Sandeep is a professional Indian cricketer who plays first-class cricket for Hyderabad.

Bawanaka Sandeep was born on 25 April 1992 (age 28 years; as in 2020) in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. His full name is Bawanaka Parmeshwar Sandeep. He completed his schooling from St. Andrews High School in 2007, which is one of the best schools in Hyderabad in terms of cricket training. After his schooling, he joined TKR College of Engineering and Technology in Khel Kota. He also captained his school and college cricket teams for many years.

On 10 November 2010, at the age of 18, he played his first first-class match against Jharkhand in Ranchi in which he played a brilliant inning of 144 runs. A century in the first match earned him a place in the South Zone for the Duleep Trophy and from there, Sandeep became one of the main batsmen in Hyderabad’s batting lineup.

In November 2018, Sandeep reached the milestone of 3000 runs in his first-class cricket career. Ever since the IPL started in 2008, Sandeep had dreamed of being a part of the tournament. Finally, his dream came true in December 2019 when Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. After representing Hyderabad in the domestic circuit for almost a decade, Sandeep decided to play for Goa as a guest player in the upcoming domestic season. Reportedly, the reason behind the move to Goa was the politics of Hyderabad Cricket Association, which was also cited by many Hyderabad players including Ambati Rayudu.
