Danielle first shared that the breakup was a few months ago and is now sharing more details about it, telling listeners that Michael had broken up with her just one day after an egg retrieval procedure.

The couple had traveled to New York for the procedure and Danielle recalled that “they were having a lot of fun. Everything was so sweet” and the procedure went smoothly.

“Michael was waiting for me there with a matcha latte,” she says, then noted that what happened next took her by surprise.

Danielle says she “just needs to get it out there, so people stop asking questions and I can move on. But the day after Michael and I got home from freezing my eggs, he broke up with me.”

“[I’m] “I’m still very emotional, hurt and confused,” she added. “I still don’t have any answers. I am mourning the loss of her. I am mourning the loss of the future I truly believed in and I am mourning the loss of James. [Michael’s son]. I regret the loss of security I felt with him for the first time. “He was the first person who made me feel safe in a relationship, who made me feel like I was enough, and then he was taken away from me.”

Danielle still has fond memories of the trip, but she is still recovering from everything.
