Asif Khan was born on Wednesday, 13 March 1991 (age 29 years; as in 2020) in Nimbahera, a small town in Rajasthan. His zodiac sign is Pisces. In my childhood, I was fond of dancing in weddings, then in 2003 there was a show called “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”, after that show stand-up comedy as an art started in my life. , I got influenced by this art because a person can play different characters, after that, I started doing stand-up comedy in my city, I learned a lot of things from it, and I have also won many competitions.
- In 2010, he came to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting, but he did not get work. He worked as a waiter in various hotels to earn his living and decided to return to his hometown. Talking about his days of struggle in an interview, he said,
My friends started encouraging me that I should pursue acting and after that in 2010 I decided to go to Mumbai, really I made a mistake that I went to Mumbai without any preparation, my family was against my decision to pursue a career. in acting, so I didn’t get any financial support. Let me tell you one interesting thing about Mumbai that there is a lot of difference between the Mumbai of your dreams and the real Mumbai. After that in 2011, I came back to Nimbahera and worked in theater for 6 years, from that day my passion for acting started.
- After working in theater for more than five years, he decided to move to Mumbai again to pursue his acting career. He started auditioning and joined the ‘casting bay’; As a casting director. In an interview he said,
I can’t even express how grateful I am to my mentors Abhishek Banerjee and Anmol Ahuja since the beginning of my career. I would not have been able to do anything without their support, and I am also very grateful to Vibhu Gupta and Vikas Pal, the casting directors of Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega.”
