Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were among a group of people who wrote letters of support to the court on behalf of Danny Masterson ahead of his sentencing this week.

Variety noted that the letters were obtained by journalist Tony Ortega, who shared them on his website. Others who wrote in support of Danny included his peers That 70’s show co-stars Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp.
Danny’s family (including his brother-in-law William Baldwin) and his wife Bijou Phillips also wrote to the judge.
“As a friend, Danny has been nothing but a positive influence on me,” Ashton wrote in his letter. “He taught me to be direct and to face life and relationship problems head-on, solve them and move on.”
Elsewhere, she referred to him as “a role model” and “excellent.”
Mila called Danny a “dear friend.” She wrote of the “remarkable influence” he had on his life.
“I first met Danny during our time working together at That 70’s show, and from the beginning I could feel his innate goodness and genuine nature. “Throughout our time together, Danny has proven to be an incredible friend, confidant, and most of all, an outstanding big brother figure to me,” he continued.
Another celebrity revealed that she felt “relieved” by Danny’s sentence.
After his sentence was announced, an interview with the actor resurfaced and went viral.
