In 1994, AS Ravi Kumar Choudhary started his career in the Telugu film industry as assistant director to Sagar for the film Amma Donga (1995). He worked with Sagar for the next 10 years. In between, she also worked with director Seenu Vittala in the Telugu film Nee Kosam (1999). He made his debut as a director in 2002 with the Telugu film Manasutho, but that film flopped at the box office, but later in 2004, he directed Yagnam which became a big hit. Choudhary has directed several films including Jeevitam (2014), Atadista (2008), and Soukhyam (2015). He has also directed a television show Dondu Donde (2016). He has worked with famous actors of the South Industry like T. Gopichand and Brahmanandam.
