livelihood

Aryanpal Ghuman started skating at the age of four. Aryanpal used to wake up at four in the morning to practice skating. He used to devote his entire day to studies and continued practicing skating in the evening after tuition classes. When Aryanpal was asked how he managed to balance studies and skating, he gave credit to his mother and his coach and said,

If she (his mother) had not been there, I would not have been able to wake up in the morning, go to practice and study well. To wake me up at 4 o’clock, my mother has to wake up at 3.30 in the morning. And then I am also very grateful to my skating coach. He keeps me motivated. ‘Actually, I was out of skating for two years, but they convinced me to get back into it and now this is the sport that’s taking me everywhere.’
