Arun Verma was born in 1959 (age 62 years at the time of death) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling from Model Higher Secondary School, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He studied B.Com from Government Hamidia Arts and Commerce Degree College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 1977 to 1981. Later, he took acting training in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Death
According to a leading newspaper, he had a blockage in his brain due to which his organs failed and he died after kidney failure on 20 January 2022 (2 am) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The news of his demise was shared by his nephew Amit Verma. Talking to journalists he said,
Arun ji died at 2 am today, he was admitted to People’s Hospital, Bhopal. He had a block in his brain and gradually all his organs including his lungs stopped functioning and he ultimately died due to kidney failure.
One of his close friends and comedian Uday Dahiya shared the news of Arun’s demise on Facebook. He has written,
It is with great sadness that I have to inform that my friend actor Arun Verma has passed away this morning in Bhopal, may God rest him in his holy feet. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti….”
