Arun Govil is an Indian actor, producer, director and politician. He is best known for playing the role of ‘Lord Ram’ in Ramanand Sagar’s ancient Hindu epic television series, Ramayana (1987–1988).

Arun Govil was born on Sunday, 12 January 1958 (age 64 years; as in 2022) in Ramnagar, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Their zodiac sign is Capricorn. He received the B.Sc. degree from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. He used to participate in school annual functions and even played various roles in college plays.
